Autumnal Nights

November 13, 2018

Good morning lovely people. I hope you are all doing well. I’ve had a strange week where I haven’t exactly felt like myself so I’m taking some time to be by myself and fully indulge in my own emotions.
I feel ridiculous just saying this but I hadn’t felt sad in ages and I felt like I needed to feel sad this week. (Privileged Twat Level 100 I know) so this week involved a lot of snuggling under blankets and listening to Joni Mitchell, specifically the song from love actually when Emma Thompson finds out Snape is having it off with the skanky secretary, you know the one.

At one point my little sad moment became hysterical to me, why was I sitting there trying to be sad? There is a time for sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves for no apparent reason but as event season begins now is not the time!

It is time to put on our favourite new dress, grab a flashy handbag and have a good time.

To fully embrace the Autumnal nights I have dressed in burnt oranges, my favourite new blazer by Loavies and an animal print dress by Topshop that says; escaping from the zoo at 5, night out with the girls at 6.

Then there’s this chainmail bag (also Topshop) that adds just the right amount of shine to an autumnal look. We are NOT about to pair animal print with full Christmas glitter.
